Lucknow: A slight dip in temperatures was recorded across Uttar Pradesh due to strong winds sweeping through the region. Meteorologists predict similar weather on Friday, with winds expected to range between 20 and 30 km/h throughout the day, potentially causing a further decrease of one to two degrees Celsius. However, as wind speeds reduce from Saturday onward, temperatures are likely to rise again.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, the state will continue to experience dry weather until February 18, with light fog in some areas during the early morning and late-night hours. However, a western disturbance on February 19 is expected to bring light rain to parts of western Uttar Pradesh, while eastern Uttar Pradesh is anticipated to remain dry with occasional fog.
Temperature Trends and Predictions
Meteorologist Mohammad Danish stated that temperatures are expected to climb from Saturday, possibly exceeding normal levels of 30-32 degrees Celsius by the end of February. In comparison, last year during the same period, temperatures had already risen to 34 degrees Celsius.
Lucknow’s Weather Forecast
